It must be a trend! Sinks and toilet/urinals all in one.
The toilet, designed by Buratti + Battiston Architects for Roca, is called the W+W - Washbasin + Watercloset. It touts to save water and space by filtering the used basin water for flushing in the toilet all in one L shaped unit.
The conceptual urinal was designed by Yeongwoo Kim and was a winning entry in iF Concept Design 2010. The Eco Urinal removes the flushing aspect by draining the sink into the same place you just peed. Of course this design assumes men are actually washing their hands after they use the facilities. Sadly, not a guarantee.
This match is just too close for comfort, besides there are too many people with bad aim.
